My client a leading Contract Research Organisation who has recently won a number of large projects and is experiencing a tremendous amount of growth currently has a high profile urgent requirement for a Director of Clinical Project Management to join their team in Germany.
Working with this role you will report directly into the VP of Project Management and assume responsibility for the line management of my clients CPM’s (approximately 10 direct reports) and Project Directors. Day to day responsibilities in addition to functional line management will include; recruiting, hiring, training and coaching, performance management and career development of all employee’s under your control. You will also play a functional role in developing and implementing new project management processes and methodology enabling the project management group to deliver and ever superior service to their customers.
Suitable candidates for this role will have an extensive background in Clinical Project Management and more recently moved into a Line Management capacity. You will have excellent problem solving and communication skills including a fluency in both English and German.
In return my client can offer a competitive salary and remuneration package including bonus and car allowance. In addition flexibility will be offered to part home-based working (up to a maximum of 2 days a week) and travel is approximated to 30 % predominately focused on domestic travel between my clients network of German offices.
