Job Profile

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

Prospect for new accounts and map out the assigned account base in order to pull in or create new requirements and to make proactive offers.
Create demand or sales opportunities by utilising proprietary software.
Negotiate with the customer to close sales orders and overcome objections while maintaining appropriate business margins.
Make prompt business decisions about whether to sell particular assets in any particular situation.
Identifying and creating innovative sales opportunities.
Understanding and executing the sales order process.
Maintain and adhere to appropriate sales metrics and business requirements set forth by management to include daily phone time, new prospect development, and maintain and enhance customer relationships.
Learn, understand and remain current on market conditions including, but not limited to, customer/vendor base and their availabilities and requirements, pricing and competitive alternatives.
Develop and implement strategic purchase programs at key accounts.
Learn, understand and adhere to the companies credit requirements.
Consistently maintain and accurately update the information database.
Work jointly with Senior Traders, Commodity Managers, Sales Managers, Order Management, Asset recovery Group, Converge regional offices, and purchasing to ensure full customer service.
Develop and maintaining new and unique customers and accounts.

Candidate Profile

MUST be German with good English. Any other additional European languages are a plus.
Must have at least 1-2 years experience in electronic component trading.
Must have a minimum of one year experience in consultative selling and long term selling within the IT/Technical Industry.
Commitment to customer satisfaction.
Team player.
Intensely entrepreneurial.
Ability to take initiative, a self-starter.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Strong PC word processing, spreadsheet skills and presentation skills.
Must be willing to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
