Our client, a large international company is seeking to recruit a Multilingual Technical Service Specialists for their office based near Dusseldorf
Job Role
You will join a European Technical Service Team. The successful candidates’ responsibilities will include providing prompt, professional and accurate technical support using the telephone and e-mail to customers in their respective markets for all products and services. Occasional travel to visit customers in support of the sales and field service organisations will also be required. This role is also responsible for creating and maintaining accurate customer and technical information on a central database.
The Candidate
• As the holder of a PhD (or equivalent) in Molecular Biology or another related subject, the successful applicant should have substantial experience in Molecular Biology together with first hand practical experience of the most frequently used techniques.
• These roles require fluency in English as well as at least two of the following languages: Italian, Dutch, German, Danish or Swedish.
• Reporting to the local Technical Services Manager this person will be self motivated, confident and enthusiastic.
• Minimum education: PhD (or equivalent) in Molecular Biology or a related subject.
• Laboratory research experience is essential, level required is unlikely to have been gained in under two years. Customer Service and / or sales experience desirable.
• Broad knowledge of molecular biology and related techniques.
• Excellent telephone and written skills.
