For our client, a subsidiary of the successful global player IBM, we are looking for IT-support agents (m/f) with American English skills in Erfurt and Leipzig, Germany.
American English needs to be spoken fluently? You are able to communicate very well in another language? You are an open-minded, service-oriented person? You are able to work independently but nonetheless enjoy working collaborately in a team?
In that case following duties could be part of your daily working routine:
Job Description:
- Front- and Backdesk support for MS Windows platform, standard SW and additional customer specific SW;
- partielly server platform,
- initial support for HW- problems and incidents, perform problem determination, resolve and close the problem, or route the incident record to the appropriate level of support
- Using technical resources and tools
- qualified dialog with the end user to analyze incidents and problems
- incident/problem coordination with the resolver groups
- qualified incident/problem documentation and reporting in the customer
specific ticket tool
- maintenance of knowledge and process documentation
Specially defined portfolio exists and has basically the following content:
Majority of customer relevant pw-resets, Lotus Notes (up to version 8.5),
Windows XP and WIN7, MS Office 2003 and 2007, Oracle, Blackberry, Cisco
phone, VPN (Connectra and Junos), IE 6 and 8.
Various standard applications like Adobe, Citrix etc and also various Merck specific applications.
Ideally you have already gained experience in IT-user-support and basic network services (TCP/IP. client/server environments).
