A high quality Account Manager is required by Marin Software to manage the sales of Marin solutions through the existing client base in the DACH region. This critical role, based in our Hamburg office, requires strong knowledge of the online media industry, solid account management sales skills and experience of partnership management.
Key Responsibilities
•Managing and supporting client accounts with the goal of fostering long-term business relationships and continued revenue growth.
•Understanding client needs and strategy, exploring and discovering business opportunities
•Achieving monthly and annual revenue quota.
•Working in a team and within a flexible and demanding working environment
•Analysis of total market potential and prioritizing opportunities.
•Tracking all account activity in CRM tool (Salesforce) and providing clear, consistent forecasting
•Possessing ongoing knowledge of company offerings and associated technologies.
•Demonstrating the value of long term agreements with client partners.
•Creating satisfied customers who are willing to recommend Marin Search Marketer to other businesses.
Requirements
•Strong experience in online media, selling software or software-as-a-service
•Successful track record managing clients, account retention and revenue growth
•Agency experience and a track record of growing successful agency business is an advantage
•Search marketing industry experience preferred
•Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
•Excellent communications skills both face to face and via the web with clients to understand client needs and strategy, exploring and discovering business opportunities
•Previous sales Methodology training preferred
•Fluent in German and English
•Willing to travel as required with DACH region and to UK /USA
