The area: Global Agency & Global Accounts
The Global Agency & Global Accounts (GAGA) group is the link between Google and its top global agency and client partners. GAGA teams help identify, develop and shape global client and agency engagement across a full suite of media, technology and platform products, with the express goal of accelerating client success and Google revenues through product adoption and digital capability development. GAGA teams drive joint business planning and country benchmarking, multi-region dealmaking and best practice transfer. We are committed to helping our partners transform their business models using Google's media and technology platforms.
The role: Head of Global Top Accounts - Tokyo
Reach for new revenue-generating heights as a Sales Googler. Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As the Head of Global Top Accounts for Japan, you accelerate revenue generation and provide consistent service to our largest global advertisers in the Auto & Tech vertical. Key duties include identifying revenue growth opportunities, presenting Google's global value- proposition to multi-country decision-makers, and executing on global initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Develop jointly with local sales leads a detailed global growth strategy and annual global account plans for strategic accounts
* Align global priorities with local sales team and ensure consistent execution across geographies
* Develop relationship maps and ensure that strong relationships are build with global decision makers
* Disseminate available global tools, dashboards, scorecards, track performance and develop valuable reports, analysis and benchmarks
* Drive consistent global research to prove the value of online marketing. Drive significant YoY revenue growth for the designated strategic accounts
Minimum qualifications:
* BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
* 15 years of work experience, including at least 10 years of related business development and business strategy experience.
Preferred qualifications:
* Proven track record in developing and closing strategic deals with large partners or clients
* Self-driven personality with strong analytical as well as communication skills.
* Intensive experience in technology or media / digital advertising sales, with a good understanding of display and search marketing.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English.
