This role is permanently based in Thailand
Our Client specializes in providing essential products and services to economies in transition. They work alongside the development community in emerging markets to build or rebuild local infrastructure – for example, power generation, transport, communications, and heavy equipment
Job Responsibilities
• To support the creation and delivery of technical/non-technical training courses for employees and customers, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently, effectively and safety, working to obtain facility certification and association with manufacturers as a Regional Training Center.
• Overseeing and supporting the delivery and roll out of training and competence initiatives for all applicable brands.
• Overseeing and supporting the planning, organizing and management of the development of competency-based programs and training models in co-operation with the management of Group Service.
• Ensuring skills and knowledge gap analysis is completed in line with supervisors and plans for future development needs accordingly.
• Providing orientation and training on new course materials requirements.
• Researching and evaluating the technical content of training material, coordinating updates and improvement of all training materials, aids and facilities as per new requirements.
• Providing technical support and guidance for advanced trouble shooting to technicians/Field engineers as required.
• Developing and managing annual training budget established to support all training activities planned.
• Recruiting, hiring, and developing, and retaining key talents by maintaining a current organization chart with clear indication of the lines of authority and responsibility of the group.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
Person Specification
• English (Native English speaker) / French would be an advantage.
• Considerable experience related to After-sales operations from an automotive, construction equipment or truck network.
• Recent previous experience as Training Instructor.
• Excellent presentation and communications skills, both in writing and verbally in English (Native English speaker) / French would be an advantage.
• Excellent computer skills using Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
