Cathedral Recruitment is operating as an employment agency, is currently seeking a ‘Student Internship - Mm-wave Broadband Spectroscopy (by Vector-Network Analyzer) & Data Post Processing’ to work with one of our most prestigious clients over in Germany. This is a 6 month contract with possible extensions.
Your tasks:
· Execute & evaluate dielectric spectroscopy measurements in the frequency range from 1-60GHz using a VNA and MATLAB
tool
· Support setup & modification of the measurement setup
· Coding of functions in MATLAB for measurement data post-processing
· SW modifications (where needed) to accommodate the different measurement setups and campaigns (i.e. GPIB scripting,
adaptation of interface SW for different experimental probes, …)

Your job profile:
· Basic knowledge of VNA measurements
· Self-motivation and ability to learn and apply knowledge in new area of technology.
· Basic knowledge of MATLAB
· Like working in an international team
· Good command of the English Language – written and spoken
Administrative:
Project duration: up to 6 months
Starting date: Immediate
