Produce prototypes and sales/consumer samples in R&D pilot plant
Design experiments and pilot plant trials for product/process development
Set up pilot plant equipment parameters for specific test and product requirements
Support design and decisions of/for new or adapted pilot equipment including capital estimates
Ensure completion of technical R&D documents for new products and processes
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across R&D and non R&D functions as necessary to support business growth initiatives
Provide training and support to R&D developers across Europe for plant trials and start-ups
Lead technical communication with ingredient and equipment vendors to recommend design choices as needed for product launches
Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Process Engineering or similar
Good technological skills demonstrated in a business setting
Excellent understanding of technical aspects of liquid processing and technology
Strong business and customer focus
Ability to work with complex systems in a multi-location environment
Good teamwork, communication and leadership skills
Demonstrated knowledge to develop, plan and conduct prototype development
Working knowledge of experimental design
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good bench top beverage development skills a plus
Systematic, orderly working attitude with high standards
Ability to self initiate and work with customers in several location
