THE ROLE
Due to increased growth our customer is looking to recruit an ITIL Processes Practitioner based on site in
Frankfurt, Germany.
THE CANDIDATE
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Apply pre-defined ITIL-based processes, procedures and methods to support and maintain the
• Customer IT Service Management framework and functions, such as Supplier Management, Service
• Level Management, etc.
• Work with peer colleagues and users to collect requirements, analyse and evaluate proposals,
• conduct negotiations and implement specifications according to defined process workflows.
• Contribute to Service Management processes operations by performing defined tasks including but
• not limited to activities related to process and service continual improvement, and document and
• implement standards according to defined process workflows
• Implementation experience in IT service management processes concepts, in particular Service Level
• Management (SLA), Operational Level Agreements (OLA) within an IT organisation or professional IT
• service provider
• Experience in collecting service/operational level requirements (requirements in general), analyse and
• evaluate specifications against standards and conduct negotiations
• Experience in an out tasking or outsourcing exercise of IT managed services
• Experience in IT operations and technical support in particular in the set up of monitoring and
• definition of KPI’s for business/ technical services e.g. in the fields of incident & availability & capacity
• Education and qualifications:
• Educated to Masters Level or above – This is an essential pre-requisite and applications that do not
• comply will not be considered under any circumstances.
• Very good command of English with proven drafting ability + Experience working knowledge of a
• second EU language - This is also an essential pre-requisite and applications that do not comply will
• not be considered under any circumstances.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is mandatory and Practitioner Level is highly desired
• Knowledge and skills:
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes and best practice, i.e. ITIL Service Management
• processes service life-cycle V2 and/or V3
• Solid foundation in IT operations and technical support.
• Practical experience in operating IT service management processes.
• Experience in team/group facilitation, project management and training would be an advantage
• IT Process reengineering experience
• Very good analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deliver to agreed deadlines.• Proven ability to generate a range of possible, also innovative, solutions and to assess the implications
• of these solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills, in particular communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in
• a team and co-ordinate own activities with others.
• Salary 65-70,000 euro guideline – Although this could be negotiable + Relocation assistance – 30 days holiday
