SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit for a Senior Financial Accountant to work for a rapidly expanding company in the Leisure Industry. This Financial Accountant position is based in Gibraltar, with regular communication with their Head Office based in the UK. This Senior Financial Accountant position is ideal for a qualified accountant with experience in the leisure sector and expertise in cash management and systems implementation. This is a career enhancing opportunity for the right Financial Accountant.
Senior Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
* Assisting and working in a close relationship with the Finance Director
* Preparation of the month end Management Accounts
* Maintain a healthy cash balance for the business entity
* Management of large volumes of Cash transactions, both payments in and out
* Assist with the review of the Payments procedures systems
Senior Financial Accountant profile:
* Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA
* Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in an accounting environment
* Knowledge of Group Structures/Group Accounting
* Excellent reconciliation skills
* Proven ability to implement and review systems and procedures
* Advanced Excel skills to pivot table and Vlookup level
* Knowledge of Sage accounting system
* A "can do" attitude in the work place and a motivating approach to Team development
