This position is based in Hamburg, Germany.
The area: Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis
In addition to assisting business leaders throughout the company with all finance-related matters, the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization is also consistently looked upon to provide analytical perspectives to important strategic decisions. Our mandate is to design, implement and manage the processes that support business needs. This includes developing financial forecasts and analyses, generating internal management reports, monitoring key performance indicators and driving the scaling and automation of financial processes. We also provide decision support and conduct financial reviews of a wide range of business issues from deal analysis to data center rollouts.
The role: Finance Analyst
In this position you will play a lead role in driving our revenue agenda, developing better and faster business processes and in providing analytical and strategic support to the leadership team. You will gain invaluable experience in this fast-track role, which offers extensive interaction with senior level management. As the Financial Analyst, you are a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high energy growth environment. You should be a self starter with a high degree of analytical rigour. You should be able to ?crunch the numbers? one minute and critically think through strategic issues the next. You will have the maturity to work and communicate with senior, demanding stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze key business trends and report on the performance of the German sales organization, highlighting key insights for the leadership team.
* Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses on a broad range of topics that translates data into actionable insights.
* Manage financial processes such as quarterly forecasting or annual business planning collaborating with colleagues across countries and functions.
* Act as the day-to-day finance partner to the Google sales teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor?s degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree.
* Relevant work experience. Demonstrated top performance in prior role(s), with increasing levels of responsibility.
* Excellent analytical skills, well organized and capable of handling multiple projects and stakeholders.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment. Fluent in English and German.
