The Role:

The Bloomberg Mergers & Acquisitions data team is looking for enthusiastic self-starters with excellent project management and communication skills for the Private Equity data product. Knowledge of private equity and venture capital is essential. The successful candidate will also have a good grasp of data architecture and the data information business.

Responsibilities include expanding data coverage and analysis in the global private equity market, building relationships with private equity firms, building and sustaining vendor teams for short-term projects, and working closely with Sales, R&D, and Business as part of the on-going product development.

Qualifications

- BA/BS in Finance or equivalent work experience; MBA and CFA a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in M&A, private equity, venture capital markets
- Minimum 2 years of project management/leadership experience
- Commitment to enhancing and developing products
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
- Effective research and analysis skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet tight deadlines
- Self-starter; deals with complex concepts & gray areas comfortably
- Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, MS Office a must, familiarity with Bloomberg Equity Key a plus
- Fluency in Mandarin is essential
- Work location can be in Hong Kong, Shanghai or Beijing
