Spanish Speaking Product Manager - Berlin, Germany
Be responsible for translating content for our international gaming company in Berlin, Germany.
If you enjoy the challenge of translating game text and in-game quest material to be compelling in another language, then this is the position for you!
Responsibilities:
• Translate game-related text from English to another language
• Translate, edit or proofread marketing or technical material
• Report project process to managers or project leads
• Edit text embedded in images to use translated text
• Work together with a team to define a consistent voice and translation style for each project
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
• Most fluent language of Spanish with excellent English (source language)
• University degree as MA/BA in Translation Studies is a plus
• Familiarity with modern slang, colloquial and technical terms in English and the target language
• Full-time or freelance work experience writing or editing written materials
• Experience editing spreadsheets and text documents
• Experience communicating and working with a team
• Familiarity with gaming terminology (“experience points”, “guilds”, “RPG”, etc)
• Familiarity using image editing tools (such as Adobe Photoshop) and TM tools is a plus
