The Google Technical Services (gTech) team serves as the primary point of contact for our global Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to support our sales organization across all products. We provide tools so that our sales teams can focus on generating revenue and leverage our strong relationships with Googles Tech teams to enable our sales organization to do multi-solution selling, launch and support new products, and help and engage our users.
The role: Technical Account Manager, Yield Management (German)
The core role of a Technical Account Manager (TAM) is to manage relationships with strategic clients ensuring they meet their online ad-serving objectives, while growing the Googles' Yield Management products in the Publishing market. Operating cross-functionally with Sales, Technical Support, Product Management and Product Marketing the role will deliver key display revenue opportunities to our top publishing clients. The TAM, leveraging their digital advertising experience will contribute big ideas to program growth and translate key client objectives into appropriate product and feature usage through the use of training, implementation consulting, and day-to-day support.
Responsibilities:
* Provide pre and post-sales consulting, post-implementation training, as well as ongoing consulting and development of best practices with clients.
* Work with business leaders to develop strategy including best practices, change management, and monetization analysis.
* Conduct technical walk-throughs of new product features as they relate to client product usage.
* Collaborate with the Sales team or lead efforts to monitor exchange activity and track performance against goals. Identify delays, budget, or technical quality concerns so they can be proactively addressed.
* Ensure project team, internal management, and external customers are provided with appropriate, timely, and accurate project information and status updates.
Minimum qualifications:
* BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
Preferred qualifications:
* Knowledge of Python, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript or prior experience troubleshooting technical issues.
* Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a dynamic matrix environment and able to manage competing priorities.
* Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience effectively.
* Highly-motivated individual with a proven ability to drive projects to a successful and timely conclusion.
* Fluent in English and German.
