EcoVadis provides the first collaborative platform enabling companies to evaluate the social and environmental performances of their suppliers worldwide.
The EcoVadis notation solution combines innovative internet technologies and expertise on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) giving access to simple and reliable evaluation cards encompassing 150 purchasing categories, 120 countries and 21 CSR standards. A key element to a Sustainable Purchasing policy, it gives companies the opportunity to reduce risks and improve their supplier performances.
Founded by experienced Supply Chain and NTC entrepreneurs and supported by an International Scientific Committee, EcoVadis has built partnerships with companies such as Microsoft and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Alcatel-Lucent, Alstom, Air Liquide, Atos-Origin, Alcan Packaging, Axa, Bouygues and Renault are among the 25 corporate companies choosing EcoVadis to deploy supplier evaluations in over 80 countries.
Job Description
Able to work in an international start-up company, you will participate in contacting suppliers in international CSR campaigns from all over the world. You will be responsible for:
- Calling and following up with suppliers to ensure their participation in the evaluation (primarily in Dutch and English)
- Answering questions by email and phone about the evaluation and about the sustainable procurement initiatives of their clients
- Research on web-based articles on the supplier evaluated
- Promoting and sales of additional paid services of EcoVadis (e.g. premium scorecard)
Due to the start-up nature of EcoVadis, you must be willing to turn you hand to other tasks depending on needs.
Qualifications
- Master graduate preferably in Business/Management or a related degree
- The candidate must be able to sign an internship agreement with his/her university.
- Must be fluent in Dutch, German and English (French is a plus but not compulsory)
- Autonomous and proactive, you feel comfortable working in an international start-up company
Additional Information
6 months contract minimum
Beginning: ASAP
Based in Paris – France, or office in Brussels (To be discussed at interview)
