Our client is always looking to expand our team of translators. If you are a skilled, experienced translation professional who is not afraid to be creative - and who likes videogames and online games - then we want to hear from you.
As a game translator, you will be responsible for rendering in-game content into your language, as well as proof-reading any in-game content that has already been translated. Further to this, you will need to coordinate with other teams and individuals to maximize efficiency and exploit synergies, all the while communicating with the clients and taking their needs into account.
To apply for a position, you will need either:
a degree in translation (completed in your language);
or a minimum of 3 years experience translating from English.
Besides this, you will need to demonstrate:
previous translation experience, preferably in the videogames/multimedia field;
a high degree of computer literacy (good Microsoft Office skills are essential);
Applicants will need to:
have a personal interest in playing videogames and a good knowledge of specific gaming language.
feel comfortable working in an international environment;
work as flexible, committed team-players;
be responsible, self-motivated and innovative.
