Company:Our client is an industry leader and innovator in premium digital content.They currently have a role for a German General Country Manager based in Frankfurt Germany.
Role: In this role you will be responsible for the strategic growth of a new startup, however they will have all the international resources and backing of the Group.In addition you will be responsible for the development of the product vision and strategy, propose business cases for features. You will also be in charge of the overall strategy of the company including identifying and execute a range of distribution and marketing partnerships with external organizations, for audience acquisition and revenue generation. The successful candidate will also work closely with editorial to understand and contribute to the content strategy. Finally you will analyze, monitor and report on all key business metrics and present plans for revising and improving performance.
Skills: The skills needed for this role are as follows;
- You will be a creative thinker with strong industry relationships, and a passion for news and new technology.
- Must be fluent in German and have very good English language knowledge
- A College degree is required
- Experience in a senior product development, business development or general management role within a leading digital publishing organization
