The area: Product and Technical Sales Support
The Product & Technical Sales Support (PTSS) team serves as the primary point of contact for our global Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to support our sales organization across all products. We provide tools so that our sales teams can focus on generating revenue and leverage our strong relationships with Google's Tech teams to enable our sales organization to do multi-solution selling, launch and support new products, and help and engage our users.
The role: Technical Account Manager, Invite Media
This is your chance to be part of a group that solves big problems for Google?s most strategic advertisers in one of the newest areas of online display advertising. As a Technical Account Manager for Invite Media (Google?s DSP), you will solve critical business problems in one of the fastest growing areas of online advertising and manage relationships with some of Google?s most strategic advertisers and agencies. You will work with both internal and external parties to ensure that critical business and technical problems are handled quickly and appropriately, and will be the primary point of contact for all technical related aspects of Invite Media. In addition to our clients, you will form a close partnership with Product Management, Engineering and Sales and will actively contribute to the ongoing success of the platform.
Responsibilities:
* Manage technical and product issues and escalations for your book of business, delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
* Conduct high-impact services including customized product trainings, account reviews, feature request prioritization, and on-site visits.
* Become an expert in online advertising and your customers to provide effective ad management operational and technical consultation.
* Serve as the liaison between the client and Sales, Product, and Engineering teams; represent the client as the technical relationship manager and as the complement to the business relationship manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
* BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
* Experience in programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrable creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
* Experience in a technical client services environment and experience troubleshooting technical issues for external clients.
* Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Python, HTTP, Flash etc and an interest in technology.
* Ability to quickly absorb complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
